Thursday’s Rehearsal: Due to Visit the School Night, we are need a few things to happen so we can hold practice:
1. Students need to arrive so we can begin practice at 5:45.
2. Students will need to bring ALL of their belongings to the field with them that evening – we can not be in the school.
3. There will be limited parking on campus. We areasking all students to get a ride to practice from their parents/guardians, and if that is ABSOLUTELY not possible, to then park on Raider Way.

FB Game: Information regarding times is to the left. We will be wearing our uniforms! Students will be given a third quarter break to eat dinner, use the restroom, etc.

Saturday’s Competition: Times for the day are posted to the left. Students should bring lunch or have food dropped off for them for lunch. After our performance we will change into jeans and a band shirt, so students will need to pack these items. Band sweatshirts, jackets, or other band attire can be worn with jeans as well. For dinner, students should bring food or money to purchase food at Matawan after we change.

Spectators for Saturday: We will be selling tickets for all non-championship TOB shows. In TOB, if you purchase the tickets through us then our band will receive the money for ticket sales-if you purchase at the gate on the day of the event, the school hosting gets that money. Tickets for this weekend’s competition at Matawan HS (450 Atlantic Ave, Aberdeen, NJ 07747) are $10 for adults, and $5 for students/seniors/children. Please see Miss Sanford at Visit the School Night on Thursday, or at student drop off for Friday’s FB Game or Saturday’s practice if you’d like to purchase tickets!

Uniform guidelines: Just a reminder, as per your handbook that all visible piercings need to be removed, have a clear stud, or are to be covered with a Band-Aid. Students should have no colored nail polish and hair must be a natural color. When wearing our uniform hats, wind and percussion students should have their hair pulled up and completely tucked beneath the hat. Color guard should follow guidelines laid out by the color guard staff- this information is usually posted in the color guard Facebook group. No one is to remove any uniform part without permission of the directors!

-Any students who have not received band shirts, please check to be sure you have registered online at www.marchingraiders.org. If you have registered and still have yet to receive your shirt, please see Miss Sanford.
